"We fully support the aims and vision of the Renters' Reform Coalition.

At Marks Out Of Tenancy, we believe renters aren't given access to all the information they need. So we set about changing that. Renters use Marks Out Of Tenancy to rate and review their landlords, letting agents, rental properties and neighbourhoods to bridge the information gap between one renter and the next. In reading previous renters experiences, future renters can make better informed decisions.

Working together with our Renters' Reform Coalition partners enables us to improve conditions in the private rental sector, to ensure the voices of all renters are heard".

"Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness organisations in England. Our aim is for everyone to have a safe place to live and the support they need to maintain it. Reforming the private rented sector to make it more secure and affordable will be key to realising this goal."

"We're partnering with the Renters Reform Coalition to make sure that the voices of Disabled people are heard in the housing crisis. We recognise that many of the barriers to safe and accessible housing disproportionately impact Disabled people. Therefore, it's essential that we are part of this conversation - and we are looking forward to collaborating with those in the coalition."

“Solace works with over 23,500 survivors of male violence in London every year. Domestic abuse is one of the biggest causes of homelessness in the UK and the lack of safe, suitable and affordable accommodation is a barrier to women and children fleeing from and recovering from abuse. Around 20% of the survivors we work with are privately renting and they are twice as likely to be precariously housed as a result of fleeing abuse. It is therefore vital that the private rented sector is reformed to provide the safety and security they need.”

"CLES is the national organisation for local economies - developing progressive economics for people, planet and place. We work by thinking and doing, to achieve social justice and effective public services.

Secure, sustainable housing and the fair ownership and management of land and property underpin well-functioning local economies, and we are proud to support the important work of the Renters’ Reform Coalition."

"We are pleased to support the goals of the Renters' Reform Coalition. Our report 'Poverty in later life' published in January 2022 confirmed that older renters are significantly more likely to enter poverty past State Pension age.

Older private renters are also more likely to live in houses with damp and in houses in need of repair.

Independent Age has called on the government to keep its promise to introduce the Renters Reform Bill in this parliament. This Bill must include commitments to scrap Section 21 'no fault' evictions and to introduce secure and standardised 'lifelong deposits'”

"JCWI is proud to support the Renters' Reform Coalition because we believe there is no place for discrimination in renting. The 'right to rent' scheme is part of the Government's Hostile Environment, designed to make life in the UK impossible for people without secure immigration status. Evidence shows this reckless policy make it harder for migrants and British people of colour to rent a home. It must be scrapped, once and for all."

"Localis is an independent, leading not-for-profit think tank that promotes neo-localist ideas through research, events and commentary.

We support the Renters’ Reform Coalition because a secure and family-friendly private rented sector is essential to building the fabric of successful and sustainable communities."

"The Trussell Trust supports a network of food banks across the UK and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

Food banks in our network see every day the impact that the costs and insecurity of renting have on the ability of people to afford the essentials. There are significant overlaps between experiences of eviction and homelessness and need for emergency food. That is why we are proud to be a partner in the Renters’ Reform Coalition, to reform the private rented sector so that everyone who relies on it for their home can prosper."

“We are pleased to support the coalition’s campaign, and will be raising awareness of key issues facing survivors of domestic abuse in the private rented sector. The coalition’s vital principles of stability and affordability, safety and a just housing system are particularly crucial for survivors of domestic abuse, and the Renters' Reform Bill must deliver systemic changes in this regard.”
